Notice, 3 of the players Kim inherited no longer even play college basketball. And a couple of them (Biedschied & Torren) would have likely been his best players. Yeah yeah I know it's Kim's fault they got arrested or kicked out of school because he is supposed to be around them at all hours of the day and do their schoolwork for them.
