Any of those coaches inherit an ongoing NCAA investigation that they weren't told about? No don't think so. Did they inherit as many kids that were supposed to be the best players on the team that they had to kick off due academic and legal ramifications? Pretty sure they didn't. Kim's leading returning scorer he inherited from the previous year averaged what like 5ppg (J3). I believe a lot of those guys were hired before KA too, he was hired in May. That's a lot of ground to make up in recruiting. Btw Larranaga didn't inherit a mess, he inherited a team with a lot of returning talent. This wasn't a bad situation Kim inherited, this was the worst job in college basketball and that's why nobody wanted it.
