If you make any kind of competent hire they don't start at the same place Kim will leave off. Nor would they have anywhere close to the kind of ceiling or trajectory he would have towards 'success'.

All we are doing is delaying the inevitable no matter how long this goes on. We have seen enough to know Kim can't succeed, its only a matter of to what degree he can potentially avoid failure at this point. Maybe down the road he isn't quite as bad as he had been. But its not plausible he ever reaches a normal acceptable level for MU basketball.
