the worst two seasons in the last 50 years of program history. In the last 15 years of SEC play a team has won 6 conference games over two years just one time and that was when the SEC played 16 games. Kim isn't just rebuilding from a bad hand dealt to him. He has tanked this program to historic levels. Teams have ebbs and flows and rebuilds occur. But this is by far the lowest point in our modern program history.
I would love to look at the positives but there really aren't many. We will be picked to finish last this year after we lost almost all of our upperclassmen and replaced them with one of the worst ranked recruiting classes in the conference. We are heading into year 3 after losing over half of our offensive production with a coach who has won 2 games against P5 teams who finished above .500 and we lost almost 2/3 of our games last year by double digits. You can say I'm negative but I believe I'm rational and the facts all point to us being a well below average team again this year. Sure, I can hope that something will magically change but we've seen this play out before.
