over. This is just a flat-out false claim. It wasn't in a worse state than when Mike Anderson took it over. It wasn't perfect but new coaches almost never inherit a perfect situation. A less than ideal situation was made much worse by Kim's inability to retain players, gain the respect of players he inherited, and to recruit SEC talent. The narrative of Kim taking over some terrible program like BC or Penn State is an excuse.
