But I tend to agree with him on the freshmen bigs. You're not going to get much out of them. Nikko coming off rehab and Smith probably a little underweight (bigs usually need more time to develop into a D1 body rather than guards). Kemp put up 12 & 6 in high school last year in Utah, not exactly a basketball hot bed - that's not a guy you're expecting to contribute year 1. Compare that to Puryear (he was a 20 ppg player and KC metro player of the year his senior year) there's a reason he was more prepared to go as a freshman.
All 3 could turn out to be players, but they almost certainly aren't year 1 guys.
