Tate along with the work Ford put in all summer finally pushed it over the finish line, but he was always interested in staying home and playing at SLU.

For a kid like Goodwin living in Belleville, IL, I doubt he truly sees Mizzou as staying home and I don't think he had that natural interest like he did at SLU. Although I see that he mentioned Northwestern and Mizzou were his top choices beyond SLU.
