change the truth into a lie, nor a lie into the truth.
Setting aside for the moment, the word trinity, you have yet to respond to the truth of what is stated in John Chapter 1 and Hebrews 1, that Jesus Christ is God. Either you accept this plainly stated truth, or you reject it. So which is it? Do you accept the truth of the claims in both John 1 and Hebrews 1 that Jesus Christ is God?
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. ... 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’”
Are you willing to accept that it says in those verses that "In the beginning was the Word", (that the Word existed from eternity past), "and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (that while being separate from God, (the separation as a distinct character is shown by saying He was with God) but He was also in fact, the very same being, as He was God)"
He also participated in all of creation. If He, the Word is a created being, how is it He participated the in the creation of His own person? He could not create Himself, and that didn't happen, as "without Him nothing was made that was made"
Put all created things in one (figurative) box, and all non-created things in another. God goes in one box, all created things in the other. Which box does the One who created all things go into? The box of the non-created. Which box does the Word go into, being God, He is non-created.
"And God the Word became flesh and lived among us." Christ was born 6 months after John the baptizer. But notice what John says. Though Christ came after, He is preferred before (He is preeminent) John, because He existed before John. The Word existed in the beginning as God, and then took on flesh to live on earth.
Do you accept the plain words here, that the Word is God and became flesh?
Either you accept it, or you reject it. There is no middle ground.
I'm including the link to the post of Hebrews Chapter 1 where God address the Son as "God", using the same exact Greek word, and tells all the angels to worship Him.
The book says "you shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve." The Apostle Paul, and others said they were servants of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Ephesians it says there is One Lord, one faith, one baptism. Either the Lord God Almighty is the same being as The Lord Jesus Christ, or there are two Lords.
"There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." Remember Isaiah 9:6 says the Son is rightly called the Everlasting Father.
"Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord" Phillipians 2
How many Lords? One!

And finally.
"And Jesus" (having resurrected from the dead and having already sprinkled His blood on the altar in heaven, and retaken His place in the Godhead)
"came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in THE name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen."
The One name, "THE name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" Not three names, the ONE name of the three, which they share.
Do you accept that the Word of God is God and took on flesh and lived on the earth?
Yes, or no. Accept, or reject.
"Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the Lord, And besides Me there is no savior.
There is One God. Not two. The Word is God.
