You applauded (figuratively) his statement, which is patently false. Which is the greater harm; destruction of the soul, or destruction of the body? I know what God says.

"And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire—" Jesus Christ (being God - John 1:1ff, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, ... and the Word became flesh and lived among us", He would know better than anybody.)

While the intolerant practices of a small portion of the Baptist sect of Christianity has resulted in unjust harm, it is nowhere near the harm caused by sending someone to hell because they relied in a false god.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
