You guys will probably never realize the cash flow that you could have had as long as the conference is owned by Texas. Texas cares nothing for what's best for the Big 12, and they can't join another conference without agreeing to revenue sharing, among other things. No P5 conference will take them on that basis. That's the only reason they're still where they are. But their revenues are still so relatively high, they don't care.
Make no mistake, Texas is stuck, but they're stuck with a much better deal than the rest of the conference. In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
So go ahead and keep justifying your spousal abuse. You made Texas hit you, it's not their fault. It's yours.
