As freshman they avged 6.7 mpg/2.1 ppg each. Later they became good players, and Grimm even played briefly in the NBA. They weren't overexposed as freshman, but had they been they would have looked underwhelming and likely tried to find a new program.

Our program the last few years has been akin to the way the Royals used to operate in their bad years, where unready talent was rushed to the majors, over-exposed, and then washed out.
