with the NIT losing its status as the NC tourny years ago but the fact is that if the Power 4 said this is our NC tourny and then the media and historians would follow.


Also add to it the money factor and no one would go to the NCAA tourny. The power for tourny would be offering the non power 4 more money since the money would be 100% paid out instead of the NCAA taking a cut. Plus the NCAA tourny would not be getting the TV contracts that they have if the Power stopped playing so NCAA would have a smaller pool to payout even before they took their cut.


All of this is why I think the NCAA's days are numbered.
