But this is interesting to me on multiple levels. 1. I've never hit a dog, but if I did I'm not sure I would have stopped. Is that expected behavior? 2. Who would be liable in that instance? If your dog was on the road and got hit causing damage to a car, I would think it would be your insurance responsibility, not theirs.

I'm not a dog owner, a lawyer or an insurance guy so I'm the last one that would know these answers.
