and show them some money. Coaches have to kiss the ass of high school kids for 2-4 years. A ton of travel miles are logged in high school recruiting that isn't with transfer players. That is a ton of time and money that could be used for better things. It just makes sense. If you have an in-state kid like Cantwell, It may be worth it, but paying for coaches to fly all over the country to recruit and evaluate high school kids doesn't seem worth it anymore!
