of the mother over the fetus. And that if the fetus is damaged or dies as a consequence, well **** happens. You fail to understand you are stating that it is ok to assume the mother has more value than the fetus. That the outcome is irrelevant in morality, only the intent.
Imagine a pandemic happens. The head of the NIH pushes everyone to get this new vaccine with the intent to limit the spread of a virus and save lives. Yet the outcome is some people get myocarditis and die. Here you ignore the intent and focus on the outcome to demonize people.
Is it logical to do this? In the first case intent weighs more. In the second, outcome does. The intent is both to save lives and the outcomes involve deaths.
