and should not be criminalized. One of the key issues of our time is people using the force of govt to punish behavior that they do not like.

And it's not a debate as to the Constitution, especially the first amendment. The first amendment restricts to US govt regardless of the citizen status of the targets. Every person (citizen or not) who encounters the US govt has protections found in the Constitution.

You'd have to ignore its words to come to any other conclusion.
