auto check you in for the second flight and of course the best I could get for that leg was B15

That's when I looked into it and you can pay for the early check in or buy the upgraded ticket to begin with.

If it is a company trip I take the higher priced one just because I might have short layovers and need to be first off the plane to get to the next.

The new seating policy may not be for everyone but it will be good for me as I have to fly SWA the most due to my territory or take multi hops on other airlines
