overpower the nature of man. Eventually, as history shows, man's desire for money, power, etc. will poison just about everything it touches. The founders set up a system where people hold the power, and that would work until such time the people allowed their power to be taken away for want of trinkets and benefits they would get if the ceded that power to others. In the case, the very elected officials that should be working for them. The chickens are coming home. I don't blame the founders for that.
