small number of players needed and the fact that it is more about athleticism than pure skill makes it easier for public schools to win.

Before anyone starts yelling at me about the skill needed to play basketball let me clarify. Basketball is the sport where pure athleticism has the best chance of covering a lack of fundamentals. That is why state championships for inner city schools are heavily skewed towards basketball over every other sport with the possible exception of track and field.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
