Harris from Columbia and a bunch of guys that were juniors and seniors that had been in the program 3-4 years. Plus 1 5th year transfer.
If you go through the final 4 teams over the last decade, a majority of prep recruits that developed in the system and made it as sophomores, juniors and seniors. Not a ton of transfers. And not a ton of 5 star freshmen.
Mizzou doesn’t recruit at the Duke or Kentucky level so I look at that as a useless comparison. Though it would be nice to be able to bring in 3 5 star recruits every year.
For Mizzou and Gates to succeed development has to be a huge part of his program. If he can keep and develop 2-3 from Shaw, Robinson, Pierce, Butler plus keep at least 3 of the 2024 class then add a couple more top 75 recruits to Rowe then the 25-26 season will be able to have 1-2 specific holes filled with transfers.
If he churns the roster ever you will see a lot of big swings like we have seen the last 3 years.
