That not true. Most of the top teams. Recruit and develop their own players.
Some like Baylor win titles with a bunch of multi year transfers. Others like Kansas and UCONN get their prep recruits to stay 3-4 years.
If you churn your roster every year you will get wild swings. Some years it works, like Mizzou last season, some years like this it doesn’t.
If Mizzou wants consistent winning. You will have to see either landing 2-3 5 star recruits every year or players staying.
