I was a student in the 90's, here is what I remember. She wanted to make Mizzou more of an academic school and thought that athletics were not that important. I heard several times that Coach Stull was asking for more funds so we could compete with the rest of the Big 8, and was told no.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
