It wasn't until the 90s Stull era when I first heard of MU's supposed lack of support/facilities et al

What was the timeline on this? As a student and subsequent season ticket holder, my impression was Missouri football was baked into the campus and community culture. Games were well attended, esp by the students. If one didn't go to the games, you were either a nerd or an international student.

Did it start with Babs or was she just a "transformational" extension of the decline?
