Florida will always have an edge over Missouri in refrying because no matter how bad we as adults think of gainsville or any other city there is proximity to the ocean which is a big draw for the collegiate population. Missouri literally has no draw at all for a collegiate athlete as a state. We need to focus on getting the absolute best players in all of the Midwest not just Missouri and then trying to fill in with a few impact players from out of the area. With softball not being a full ride sport it would help tremendously if Missouri would expand its in state tuition scholarship to Indiana and michigan instead of just its border states. Indiana in particular has produced some recent all American players …Ashley Prange now at Alabama Erin Coffel at KY, the number 2 pitcher in the class of 23 heading to Florida Keegan Rothrock. There is an indiana recruit in the class of 24 who has a very talented sibling pitcher in the class of 25 that has been rumored to be a package deal and have ties to the new hitting coach from last year.
