north of the interchange that the city seemed to be perfectly fine with until the state transportation department told them to take care of it. I am currently working in Florida for the next few weeks. I understand FL has more money to work with, but the difference between the two is enormous. And, I am talking about the simple stuff. Like you mentioned, the medians. Along the highways throughout GA and FL the sides of the road and medians are mowed with very little trash. For some reason GA has figured out how to make I-75 3 lanes but Missouri cant figure out how to make I-70 3 lanes. Surrounding schools like Ashland and Hallsville are growing fast as some families are trying to escape the issues that Columbia schools have. I was born and raised in Columbia. I still love downtown Columbia on warm nights when the university is in session, but I bought land and build a house outside the craziness that is Boone County and Columbia. I'd rather go to Moberly and get what I need versus Columbia.
