media covers their particular schools. I don't recall the KC local media ever going after kU or kstate. The local media in Nebraska would never think about going after the Huskers. It's just different mindset with the local media and MU, they seem to go after them much more so...especially the local media in St Louis.

The national media would never go after kU like they would say LSU. kU is part of the blue blood, one of the boys club. They're just treated differently, it's always been that way. Guys like Jay Bilas would never speak ill of self, they don't want to lose access, same with the local media.
