As I life long basketball fan my diminishing interest in the college game has been a steady decline .
The reasons as best I can determine in order of impact…today’s college model with professionalism, concentration of talent in fewer teams, style of play .
I generally get greater enjoyment watching the girls game as the play seems more relatable.
The money inherent in collegiate sports at the higher levels is obscene..
Possibly we’ve let professional/ high D1 sports become seemingly to important , sucking the joy out of it?
