They were very skilled, way more breaking down of the basics and than when I played AAU
I think we be problem is most kids spend their EXTRA time outside of group practice only dunking and shooting threes. While it makes sense for the 6’2” guard to practice threes, there are way too many 6’10” guys that never developed their 10’ and in game and only think they can shoot 3s. The 6’8” guys realize it is their only way to make the league and never have a good enough shot
That’s why you see no mid-range game which would open it up

Agree on the scholarship thing. Would help fans get to know players and it would basically get them to use the redshirt if they really wanted to transfer

Reffing is awful and ruined the game*
