Networks would be far more interested in having the Big 8 + Memphis, Cincinnati and Houston... rather than adding some Big 8 schools to a conference that includes Tulane, Navy, Tulsa and East Carolina.

There's too much waste in the AAC as is.

I was wrong, they make even less per season than I thought.

The AAC's payout for each school is $5.7 million, the Big 12's is $37 million.
