All of them are all in the same position, where they just can't expect a large television contract.

And they probably aren't getting any invites to one of the 4 power conferences.

So the goal should be to ensure they are that 5th power conference, still with bowl ties and a chance at a playoff spot.

MWC teams made $5mm a year. The big 12 made $37 mm. That will take a big hit, but still be more than MWC.

Their goal should be to kill the AAC.

That is the best course of action - not only for the entity The Big 12 - but all 12 of the institutions, as well.
