And if you truly believed in government paying out for their mistakes, it seems there's tons of wiggle room to come off this hard line in the sand.

You know they were wronged by the government through no fault of their own.
You believe people should be repaid by the government for their losses.
Yet you have to have 100% hard proof and put the burden of proof on those wronged?

Doesn't seem very moral to take that hard line in the sand if you truly believe everything else you're saying.
