Universities are complicit in the debt. Costs accelerated after student loans and need based grants became abundant. We put six through MU and none have student loan debt. I read every bill and paid monthly. It is unbelievable how many fees and administrative add-ons they came up with. Meanwhile, many Professors sat out class and allowed instruction and monitoring of their classes by graduate assistants.
