I understand the logic. Part of it is I struggle with how many truly different competitors there could be in many infrastructure plays..and see two problems
1. We would likely end up with near monopolies anyways
2. we would lose a lot of resources in multiplication of competing resources. Do we need 2,3, 4, sets of water pipes underground. Do we need two interstates a few miles apart, etc.
Those are my struggles in seeing what happens next. But the more I see the arguments that it is not theft, the weaker those arguments get. That was the point of the post...weak counter arguments actually strengthen those by Pickle and others...especially when you read those arguments on both sides with a more open mind.
