Having had this argument many times over with Pickle et al. over taxation being theft. While at times I think their argument is weak...what really exposes it is when people like 4tigs explains what they want with tax dollars....if government shuts you down, government shall pay you for your losses. Where does government get that money. Well..they take it from taxpayers to give to that business...in effect stealing from me to pay someone I did not intend to pay.
My struggle is still around I still do receive services for which I paid for, but that choice is not mine as to which service I want and which service provider I want.
But thanks to people like 4tigs, he certainly helps paint the picture so much better.
He also paints the picture quite well of the many many failures of government and government policies.
