I think it's because we just haven't won enough to snatch many of the elite players. MO provides their fair share of elite players but they get picked off by top caliber teams. As we win more we attract those targets (See Lovett recently). If we're 3-5 he looks at another option first but since we have strung together some nice wins he flips to us first.

What % of GA recruits are home grown? Curious...
