between the two pointless. Two of the more common treatments for the Spanish Flu was bloodletting or doses or mercury as laxative. And the most common way to die from Spanish Flu was pneumonia which can be treated much more effectively today with antibiotics. If they had today's medical technology in 1918 who knows how many people would have survived?
