schools back up. A lot of kids don't eat if they don't go to school (reduced cost or free lunches). Also, I believe virtual learning is tough on kids who need more personalized direction. The smart kids are probably fine with virtual learning, although still it's not as good IMO.
We will see how individual school districts make the decision to go back to school or not, and weigh the benefits of in-person school against the risks of worsening public health.
