My last town was funny...it was a government granted monopoly and charged with our water bill. They awarded a new contractor that saved like $5/month, and the town councilperson put on his Facebook page what a great job he did in saving the money...and then asked for suggestions on what to do with that saved money. I suggested they reduce the charge to the customers, and he replied..."did not think of that"....he thought it should be used to either help those that could not pay, or some other use.

Good thing..they finally decided to reduce what they charge the taxpayers.

This was in Illinois, so not a surprise

Please explain why this message is being reported.
