or bad for the economy. It has everything to do with what's best for controlling the disease, however misguided it may be.

So when asked what we should do, he's giving his opinion as a medical expert, not an economist. Everyone reading his opinion or asking the questions or reporting on his opinion should understand where that opinion is coming from. Period.
