He is simply a bureaucrat with no power to do anything or to make anyone else do anything.

And equally interesting that the people slamming Fauci are pretty much laying off of his boss, the man who has the power to fire him for incompetence, the man who touts and exalts him, and who gives him a platform on national TV 5-6 days a week.

All Fauci is doing is providing an expert analysis of the medical situation. His analysis may be good, or it may be bad.

But someone else entirely is taking that analysis, weighing it against the other factors, and making decisions. That is who you all ought to be criticizing.
