During the time of these distancing protocols, we've seen communities increase, max out, then drop off in cases - irrespective of whether the lockdown happened before or after initial infections were reported.
The infection rates and cases, to me, seem to follow a natural pattern which isn't as directly impacted by lockdowns as some believe.
There is clearly a response/impact at the patient level that implies tons of folk are not affected or only marginally affected and the key is and should always have been safeguarding the high risk population.
You aren't going to hide from the virus.
