He made his decision, now he has to live with the consequences, so be it. For you civilians remember in saving PVT Ryan, CPT Miller states complaints only go up, he should have added "And only in channel"
Military Code of Justice, national security, and the effect on the ENTIRETY of the Navy, and all branches of the military needs to be taken into account when dealing with his actions.
He decided to publicly announce his force was not capable due to illness, stupid move on his part. It would be like SAC announcing that missile silo's are unmanned due to illness....
I notice he is not whining about being removed and good for him. That is what I expect from a Navy Officer.
