standpoint of how many wish to speak on it while demonstrating they have not a clue what is entailed within the context of the military chain of command.
I keep hearing versions of "he only sent the letter after he had tried everything else" as though that is a valid excuse. He certainly was free to do what he did. But I don't believe even he can truly be surprised at the consequences of this serious breach of military discipline and protocol. Perhaps it's a risk he felt he needed to take. But that does not mean the actions come without consequence. And so many are just literally ignorant of what is required for our military to be able to do what it does.
