The axiom--that each person has a superior right to his life--is generally accepted. But some people do not accept this axiom.
However, if you do accept that axiom, then the rest of natural law follows through logical deduction (i.e. no subjectivity or appeal to "general acceptance").
And it doesn't matter if people agree with it or not. In fact, modern history shows that quite a few people disagree, disregard, or (mostly) don't know it. They are this way because they want to control the lives of other people, which is unfortunate and inhuman.
