no objective author or source of natural law than the very concept becomes a subjective one based upon the given "enlightened rationale" of mankind at any given point. And, there cannot truly be consensus on what natural law is because it has no objective source other than the "reason of man" which history shows is anything but objective.

Terms such as "generally accepted" imply subjectivity by their very nature.
