never ever ever friggin ever be imposed. That might upset a trading partner.

If another country imposes huge tarrifs on us, we should ignore that because we don't want to start a trade war. So our businesses can all move to other countries.

That's ok.

If another country is stealing our intellectual property (cue The Idiot) and violating treaties, trade partnerships and other international deals, we should do absolutely nothing, after we politely ask them to stop and offer them money to do so.

Because we don't want to start a trade war.

It's like other wars. Never, ever for any reason. Someone may get hurt. Never stand up, never fight back, never say ENOUGH.

Someone might get hurt.
