You can't stop either...so discussing it is stupid and a waste of time. But that is what message boards are all about.

You can't control human emotions and behavior in a Free republic all the time...So you have to logic up and accept that these things are acceptable and uncontrollable.

Most people can't except it because the really have ill placed faith that we as a society can legislate control to make a utopia. Never going to happen unless you want fascist gov.
