prairie dogging out of the top of a vehicle with a sniper rifle for surveillance on the crowd. He was using a night vision scope to look into the crowd as there were people who needed to be watched. He should have used a night vision scope off the rifle to scan the crowd for any threats.

It was not long after that--just a few nights later--that rounds were being randomly fired and people, including journalists, were ducking for cover as bullets whizzed by. One was behind a mailbox livestreaming when a police officer came by to check on them.
