"Meaning to life" has no real meaning to me,

so I don't use it to evaluate anything. I have no need to for any reason. Yes, we can say something started what we got and what we are. No one knows what that is, but societies for many millenia have created ways it may have started and it invariably involved a strong power. That is usually called a god. Good a name as any. But I see little if any evidence it would have the traits given to it. Loving? Compassionate? All-powerful? And this god allows the human misery we've seen forever? I cannot possibly ignore such incredible inconsistency and contradiction.

As to morality, it is based on how one treats others. Thats all it needs to be in reality. I can be taught a perfectly good morality, harming no one, by parents, teachers, friends, myself or anyone else. That has worked for countless millions of people. It certainly works for me.
