Walker (6-0, 165) will transfer to Pitt State from State Fair (Mo.) Community College, where he garnered honorable mention NJCAA All-America honors this past winter. The Kansas City, Mo., native averaged 13.7 points and 7.0 assists per game during his sophomore campaign for the Roadrunners. He was a first-team All-Conference and first-team All-Region selection at point guard.

"A.J. was one of the top junior college point guards in the nation last year at State Fair, " Anderson said. "He's a great floor leader who can score and penetrate with his outstanding quickness. A.J. should make an immediate impact for the Gorillas."
